International beauty house Sephora recently launched a solution for emergency beauty services in New York. Graphics specialist KDF used Avery Supercast to make over a fleet of 6 MINI Coopers, with less than a day to wrap each MINI.
In the fashion capital of New York, first impressions count. That’s why Sephora needed to make over their fleet of six MINI Coopers for their new emergency “Same Day Beauty Service”.
The cars needed to be rapidly wrapped in Sephora’s trademark black and white branding. And when looks count, the finish needs to be flawless, no wrinkles or blemishes, just a silky smooth finish to reflect Sephora’s reputation for beautiful looks.
To achieve this high-level finish, New York conversion specialists KDF Reprographics had no hesitation in selecting Avery MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply with a DOL 1360 gloss overlaminate finish.
KDF graphics specialist Radim Horak says Avery Supercast was the natural choice.
“I’ve found that Avery Dennison products are the best to work with based on performance,” says Radim. “I’ve used a competitor’s product but have found that Avery Supercast films work better.”
The six MINI Coopers were first assembled to check the body details and the designs customised to suit the two different MINI models in the Sephora fleet.
The Avery MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply film was printed using a Mutoh VJ2606 printer, and once the first film was ready, two installers spent four days to wrap all six MINIs.
The fleet is now out and about in New York City saving women from beauty emergencies. You can read more about Sephora’s “Same Day Beauty Delivery Service” on their website
