Avery Dennison’s Graphics and Reflective Products Division has scheduled a series of one and two-day vehicle-wrapping workshops to be held at its graphics centre in Alphen aan de Rijn.

The workshops are aimed at beginners and professionals and provide a valuable opportunity for sharing in the experience of field experts. Experts in the field of vehicle wrapping will be leading an extensive programme of hands-on training courses. The courses will cover both basic and advanced professional vehicle-wrapping techniques and will be delivered in English. If required, and depending on the size of the group, the courses can also be given in French or Dutch. The courses will be given in Alphen aan de Rijn throughout 2010.
The courses include one-day vehicle-wrapping workshops suitable for beginners and two-day workshops for experienced professionals. The workshops for beginners will be held on 18 March, 7 May, 27 August, 1 October and 5 November, and the two-day advanced workshops for experienced professionals will be held on 22-23 April, 2-3 June, 9-10 September, 21-22 October and 25-26 November.
The workshops will provide valuable hands-on experience under the guidance of experts from the vehicle-wrapping industry, focusing on material selection, surface cleaning and preparation, positioning of decals, various application techniques on three-dimensional surfaces (including deep corrugations), tips and tricks, controlling image distortion, cutting techniques and finishing details.
All participants will receive their own personal Avery Graphics™ tool belt equipped with professional application tools, squeegees, an application glove, and cutters with spare blades and magnets.
