AVERY GRAPHICS GO FIREFIGHTING

In line with the need to be increasingly vigilant in relation to fire risk, Avery Dennison Graphics Division Europe have upgraded their Avery 500 Event Films range to achieve BI/M1 fire rating. At the same time, they have made enhancements to the opacity of the facefilm and to the cutting and layflat qualities of the backing paper.

Avery 500 EF is a range of self-adhesive monomeric calendered vinyl films for short-term promotional use, and its comprehensive nature has made it the signmaker’s answer for computer-cut point-of-sale work, signage for events and other ‘one off’ occasions, and exhibition graphics. The films are available ex stock from Avery Graphics distributors in 50 gloss colours, with a permanent adhesive; and in 50 matt colours, with a removable adhesive. Both now carry B1/M1 fire rating.

Says Matthias Warneke, Market Manager, Signage, for Avery Dennison Graphics Division Europe: ‘I believe it’s important that we should stay ahead of the field with product developments that answer market requirements. The enhancements we have made to our Avery 500 EF range are a response to the market’s sensitivity to fire risk in enclosed spaces, and at the same time will enable signmakers to enjoy improved convertability and deliver even better-quality computer-cut graphics.’

Full details of the new Avery 500 Event Films are available via the Avery Dennison Graphics Division website, www.europe.averygraphics.com, where visitors can also quickly locate their nearest Avery Graphics distributor.
